PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for erecting a column for building attachment, which erects the column while the work for constructing the eaves is not yet completed. SOLUTION: This method for erecting the column for the building attachment includes processes of: fixing a lower end part of the column to erect the column 1 independently by attaching a bracket 8 for fixing an upper end part of the column 1 for an outer corridor 201 being the building attachment to be installed outside a multiple dwelling house 200 to an eaves member 9 of the multiple dwelling house 200 and the upper end part of the column 1 and fixing the lower end part of the column 1 on a foundation concrete 5 through a height adjusting means 7 before the eaves 6 of the multiple dwelling house 200 are constructed; and fixing the upper end part of the column for fixing the upper end part of the column 1 to the eaves member 9 through the bracket 8 by elevating a position of the column 1 by the height adjusting means 7 and connecting the bracket 8 with the eaves member 9 of the eaves 6 after the eaves 6 are constructed.
