<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning reel which facilitates the adjustment of the length of a handle arm and the stop of the whirl of a nut and can prevent the deformation and shaking of the handle arm. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This spinning reel 1 includes the handle arm 24, the nut 33, and a locking member 35. The handle arm 24 includes a pair of fitting holes 30, 31 and a pair of interlocking portions 32a, 32b. The locking member 35 includes a fitting portion 36 for non-rotatably fitting to the nut 33, fixing portions 37a, 37b to be fixed to at least one of the interlocking portions 32a, 32b, and a cover portion 38 for closing empty fitting hole 30 or 31 apart from the tip end portion 15a of the handle shaft 15. The length of the handle arm 24 can be adjusted by fitting the tip end portion 15a of the handle shaft 15 to either of the fitting holes 30, 31.
