The folding blade (1) has a section (2) fastened in a folding machine and another section (3) comprising a folding edge (9). The section (2) is made of a material e.g. plastic such as carbon fiber-reinforced plastic and glass-fiber reinforced plastic, metals such as aluminum, titanium and light alloy, and ceramic such as carbon fiber-reinforced ceramic. The section (3) is partly made of another material than the material of the section (2). The sections are actuated and/or connected with each other in a force-fit manner, material-fit manner and/or form-fit manner.
