<p>The method involves determining combustion chamber pressure of an internal-combustion engine as a function of an angle of the combustion engine based on a compression ratio and a polytrophic exponent. Characteristics of angular speed of the combustion engine are determined up to a main injection using the combustion chamber pressure, where a pre-injection comprises a defined time interval to the main injection. A difference angle is determined based on the main injection, using the defined time interval and the characteristics of the angular speed. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program product comprising a set of instructions for performing a method for determination of a difference angle of an internal-combustion engine (2) a controller for an internal-combustion engine.</p> |
