A light emitting diode baffle is provided for use with light emitting diodes . The baffle has a lower reflective surface extending from an inner end adapted to be positioned adjacent the light emitting diode and terminating at an outer end. The baffle has an uppe r reflective surface extending from an inner end spaced from the inner end of the lower reflectiv e surface and terminating at an outer end. The outer end of the lower reflective surface i s adapted to be positioned at an angle of from about between 75 degrees to 60 degrees from a vertical line passing through the light emitting diode and a line passing through the ligh t emitting diode and through the outer end of the lower reflective surface. The upper reflective surface is configured to reflect light directed towards that surface outwardly and also upwardly to t he lower reflective surface of a second baffle that is positioned above the baffle. |
