PURPOSE: An optical connection structure and a manufacturing method thereof for increasing the characteristic of heat emission are provided to improve operation speed and heat emission efficiency by easily performing optical connection. CONSTITUTION: An optical interconnect structure includes a substrate(10) and a light guide(20). A hall penetrating a specific region is formed on the substrate. The light guide is fixed inside the hall of the substrate. The light guide and the substrate are fixed by a metal oxide(30). The substrate is formed on the metallic board. The light guide is fixed by the oxidation of the metal inside the substrate hall. The hall is formed by performing a laser drilling process. The hall is manufactured in the form of a circular or a square.
