<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display apparatus, method, and program capable of generating and displaying thumbnail images of image data without decrease of a user's working efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The image display apparatus includes a display means which can display the image data, a storage means which stores an image data group containing the plurality of image data, a representative image determination means which determines the priority to the image data contained in the image data group stored in the storage means and determines a representative image as the image data displayed on the display means based on the determined priority out of the image data group, an image generation means which generates the thumbnail images obtained by reducing the size of the determined representative image, and a display control means which displays the generated thumbnail image on the display means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
