<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a technology that can detect synchronizing information even in a channel signal with high level by searching a time position for obtaining a stable correlation power because the signal level is stable for a specified period in the CDMA communication system. <P>SOLUTION: Memory means 4 and 5 store demodulation data in units of configuration chips and spreading codes in units of symbols, and a correlation computation means 6 relatively slides both the demodulation data read for each of symbols from the memory means while sliding the chip position at least within one slot and the spreading code for every plural K symbols in one frame with respect to the respective continuous K symbols so as to obtain a correlative power Ph in a spreading rate N for each symbol.
