<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of displaying an image of good display quality. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device has a liquid crystal layer LQ sandwiched between a pair of substrates and also has a display area DSP composed of at least three kinds of color pixels PX displaying mutually different colors. The liquid crystal display device includes pixel electrodes EP disposed at the color pixels PX and having a plurality of slits SL, and opposite electrodes ET opposed to the pixel electrodes EP with an inter-layer insulating film IL interposed. At least two kinds of color pixels PX are formed to different sizes, and opposite electrodes ET of at least one kind of color pixels PX have a plurality of comb-like electrodes ETa opposed to slits SL. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
