<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator control device capable of detecting tailgating inexpensively with excellent accuracy without impairing the operability of users of an elevator, and enhancing the security. <P>SOLUTION: The number of persons passing through a door, and the advancing direction of users passing through the door are estimated by means separate from each other, and the number of getting-on persons is estimated based on the estimated results. Thus, a passing number estimation means for estimating the number of passing persons can pay attention for estimating the passing number, and detect the number of passing persons with excellent accuracy. Further, an advancing direction estimation means for estimating the advancing direction can pay attention for estimating the advancing direction, and detect the advancing direction with excellent accuracy since the noise can be neglected based on the result of estimation of the number of passing persons by the passing number estimation means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
