<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost, minimize the size, and promote the reliability of a servomotor drive system that includes a converter and an inverter that drive multiple servomotors. <P>SOLUTION: A first system converter 31L and a second system converter 31R are connected with an alternate current power source in parallel. A counterpart first system servomotor (22AL) is connected with the first system converter via a corresponding inverter (36AL1). A second system servomotor (22AR) is connected with a second system converter via an inverter (36AR1).
