<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce stable brightness even when white areas having different reflection characteristics are present in image data by achieving a good state in which tone characteristics thereof are not saturated. <P>SOLUTION: An image-pickup apparatus has an imaging unit which takes an image of an object and generates image data, an acquisition unit which acquires reference image data generated by taking an image of a reference object by the imaging unit, imaging conditions used for reference image data generation, and refection characteristics of the reference object, and a reference information generating unit which generates reference information based on the reference image data, the imaging conditions, and the reflection characteristics. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
