<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce failure of a device by surely collecting liquid rings generated on the end face of a development roller 20, enhancing recycle efficiency of a fluid developer, suppressing contamination in the device and improving output images. <P>SOLUTION: A development device includes: the development roller 20 for being developed on a latent image carrier 10 carrying electrostatic latent images of the fluid developer containing solid content and a carrier liquid; and squeeze rollers 13, 13' squeezing the fluid developer developed with the latent image carrier 10.
