COMMUNICATION LINE SELECTION APPARATUS AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication line selection apparatus and method in which efficient communications can be performed in response to communication requests of a plurality of communication classes.

SOLUTION: A communication line selection apparatus of a resource shared type selects one communication line from among a plurality of communication lines in response to communication requests of a plurality of communication classes. The communication line selection apparatus includes: an information management section for managing information including the amounts of resources to be used of the plurality of communication lines; an analysis section for analyzing contents of communication requests when receiving the communication requests of the plurality of communication classes; and a selection section for selecting one communication line from among the plurality of communication lines in association with types of communication classes based on the amounts of resources to be used, that are information of the communication lines, read from the information management section and the contents of the communication requests analyzed by the analysis section.
