<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker including a console panel 5 freely projecting and sinking through an opening 1b formed in a front panel 1a of a cooker body, not increasing in height of the cooker body even if the depth of the console panel 5 is increased, and stably supporting the console panel in a projecting position. <P>SOLUTION: This heating cooker includes: a lid 6 opening and closing the opening 1b and freely rotatable around a shaft 6a at the lower end; a storing box 7 for the console panel 5, a connecting means 9 for connecting the console panel 5 to the lid 6 with a degree of freedom in rotation at least in the direction of increasing and decreasing an angle made between the top face of the console panel 5 and the back of the lid 6; guide grooves 81U, 81L formed on a sidewall 7b of the storing box 7 and having a rear part longitudinally linear in the longitudinal direction and a circular-arc front part; and a guide means 8 provided on the back of the console panel 5 and including engagement elements 82U, 82L engaged with the guide grooves 81U, 81L.
