<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an anteroposterior relationship important for estimation of transition of a purpose for which a user takes action in extraction of the user's action history. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A history processing apparatus calculates a semantic similarity p between a Web page corresponding to processing object history data set as a processing object among browsing history data and a Web page corresponding to each of history data groups newer than the processing object history data, and also calculates a semantic similarity q between a Web page corresponding to each of history data groups older than the processing object history data and a Web page corresponding to each of history data groups newer than the processing object history data. It is determined whether an extraction condition that the semantic similarity p is smaller than a predetermined threshold, and the semantic similarity p is larger than the semantic similarity p is satisfied, and when the extraction condition is determined to be satisfied, the processing object history data is extracted as a specific point.
