<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulley apparatus which holds for a long time a lubricating oil applied between a spindle and a pulley. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A concave 52 consisting of a bottom 53, a wall 54 erected from the bottom 53, and an opening 55 opening toward a spindle sliding part 51 is provided in the side surface of a pulley 33. The wall 54 is formed of an adjacent wall 54b adjacent to a spindle sliding part 51, a separating wall 54a separating from the spindle sliding part 51, and an inclining wall 54c connecting the adjacent wall 54b and the separating wall 54a. An extra lubricating oil scraped when the pulley 33 is installed on a spindle 32 is reserved in the concave 52, and the lubricating oil reserved in the concave 52 is moved in the concave 52 along the separating wall 54a, the inclining wall 54c, and the adjacent wall 54b by centrifugal force and inertia while the pulley 33 is being rotated, and reaches the opening 55.
