<p>This invention relates to an oil separator. The invention lowers high viscosity of oil by using a heater and separates and discharges water and oil by using a difference of specific gravity. By controlling water discharge height in a water discharge pipe which is formed with a flexible pipe and is connected to an air flow pipe at the upper end of the water discharge pipe, the surface of oil and water is controlled, so that a discharge speed of oil may be regulated. As the control of the discharge speed is enabled, oil mixed with sea water due to accidents can be separated quickly. In configuring a sprayer of the mixed solution, a separation rate of water and oil is improved through uniform diffusion of viscous oil by forming the sprayer so that a diameter of the sprayer may be greater than that of a transfer pipe for the mixed solution and installing a diffusion plate having a plurality of diffusion holes at the upper part and the lower part. In addition, by forming an air and oil channel around the transfer pipe for the mixed solution, the air flows freely through the channels into the space where oil/water is separated. The air in the water discharge part also freely moves through the air flow pipe connected to the water discharge pipe. Thus, the increase in the flow rate of water and oil improves the separation rate of water and oil. Furthermore, the separation efficiency is improved through stabilization of oil/water surface even if the floor would have fluidity by installing one or a plurality of auxiliary cases which are hinge-coupled with an oil/water separation tank to the outside of the oil/water separation tank.</p> |
