<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an image data output device which outputs image data causing an object image to be displayed in full scale on a display device according to the size and resolution of the display device; and an image data output method. <P>SOLUTION: In an image pickup device 10, an operation part 16 calculates a zoom magnification based on distance data stored in a first storage part 15, and resolution and size information of the display device 30. Then, the image pickup device 10 directs a zooming part 13 to perform the calculated zoom magnification, and allows it to set the zoom magnification. An image sensor 12 stores photographed image data in the first storage part 15. In a display output device 20, a second storage part 23 acquires image data stored in the first storage part 15 from the image pickup device 10. A reproduction data generator 24 converts image data acquired by the second storage part 23 to RGB image data in the same size to generate display data, and then transmits the generated display data to the display device 30 for display. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
