<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell, in particular, which utilizes carbon nanotubes. <P>SOLUTION: The solar cell includes: a single-crystal silicon substrate having first and second surfaces; a back electrode, installed on the second surface of the single-crystal silicon substrate while the back electrode is electrically connected to the single-crystal silicon substrate; and a carbon nanotube structure installed on the first surface of the single-crystal silicon substrate. The carbon nanotube structure includes a plurality of carbon nanotubes which are uniformly distributed. The carbon nanotube structure includes at least one carbon nanotube film.
