<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic part mounting apparatus which is suited for converting one device for different works, and a viscous-substance trial application device which can be used in that electronic part mounting apparatus and replaced in excellent workability by other working units. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic part mounting apparatus is used on an electronic part mounting line for mounting electronic parts on a substrate thereby to manufacture a printed circuit board, and executes a predetermined work on the circuit board. Within the moving range of a working head such as a mounting head or a paste application head, there is disposed a working-unit mounting unit 30, which can mount a nozzle stocker 9 or a paste trial application unit 10 removably as the working unit for executing a specific accompanying action according to the working function of the working head.
