<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure good molding dimensions especially at a hollow boss portion with a simple and economical configuration. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A manufacturing apparatus 40 includes a movable die 42 and a fixed die 44 and a cavity 60 is formed between them. The movable die 42 is provided with a portion 42a for holding a rotor core 12, and a portion 42b where a core 62 is arranged removably. The core 62 has a base core 64 and a plurality of split cores 66a-66c. On the outer circumferential surface of the base core 64, a correction surface 68a located on the inner circumferential surface at the end of opening in a boss portion to extend in the mold release direction is provided in order to prevent deformation of the end of opening at the time of mold release.
