<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vent cap for ventilation for corresponding to smudging prevention of a wall due to exhaust air from the vent cap for ventilation at an installation site when there is an eaves ceiling, a partition wall, or the like in a neighborhood of an installation wall of the vent cap for ventilation. Ž<P>SOLUTION: By detachably attaching an eaves 12 protruding to an outdoor 3 side to a circumference 11 of an outdoor side opening 10 of a body cylinder part 5 fit in a duct 4 provided in an outer wall 1 of a building and communicating an indoor 2 side with the outdoor 3 side, if there is the eaves ceiling 14, the partition wall 15, or the like in a neighborhood of the outer wall 1 installed with the vent cap 9 for ventilation, the eaves 12 is attached in the direction on-site, the exhaust air to the eaves ceiling 14, the partition wall 15, or the like is suppressed, and wall smudging is prevented.
