<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact imaging lens constituted of two lenses having satisfactory optical characteristics. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The imaging lens is constituted by arranging in order from an object side to an image side: a first meniscus-shaped lens with a convex surface facing the object side, having positive power; and a second biconcave lens having negative power, and the imaging lens satisfies the following conditional expressions (1) to (3): (1)-2.5<f2/f1<-0.8, (2) 0.8<ν1/ν2<1.2, (3) 0.1<R1/R2≤0.28, wherein f1 is focal length of the first lens, f2 is focal length of the second lens, ν1 is Abbe's number of the first lens, ν2 is Abbe's number of the second lens, R1 is radius of curvature of the object-side surface of the first lens, R2 is radius of curvature of the image-side surface of the first lens.
