<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AV content viewing system which reduces a use band of a network for distribution of AV contents, game software, etc., in an in-flight entertainment system of a passenger transporter like an airplane and is free from the problem of radio interference and has an affinity for conventional services. <P>SOLUTION: A video of an AV content selected by a controller 5m at a passenger's seat is displayed by a video display part 45 of a display 6n at the rear of a preceding seat, and sound is modulated by turning on/off or changing the emission amount of a power source LED 48 by sound modulation part 47. This modulated light is received by a light reception part 73 of a headphone 72 and is demodulated into sound by a demodulation part 74, and the passenger listens to the sound.
