<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instantaneous voltage drop compensator in which the heat sink is effectively utilized, the reduction in size and weight is achieved, and assembly into the other equipment is easy. <P>SOLUTION: In the instantaneous voltage drop compensator, electric power of a commercial power supply is supplied to a load during normal operation, and the electric power is supplied to the load by a voltage generated from a charging voltage of a compensation capacitor at the time of instantaneous voltage drop. This compensator includes: power semiconductor elements Q<SB>1</SB>, Q<SB>3</SB>; a metal plate 13 which is commonly provided for the power semiconductor elements Q<SB>1</SB>, Q<SB>3</SB>and in which the power semiconductor elements Q<SB>1</SB>, Q<SB>3</SB>are mounted on one main surface 13a side; heat spreaders HS<SB>1</SB>, HS<SB>3</SB>which are separatedly provided at the power semiconductor elements Q<SB>1</SB>, Q<SB>3</SB>respectively and are joined to respective power semiconductor elements; an insulating layer 14 interposed between the respective heat spreaders HS<SB>1</SB>, HS<SB>3</SB>and the metal plate 13; and a heat sink H which abuts on the other main surface 13b side of the metal plate 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
