<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power source control circuit, a computer, and a power source control method, which can reliably and rapidly shut off a computer power source until shifting to processing of an OS after power-on. <P>SOLUTION: The power source control circuit 20a is provided with a reading means 21 for reading progress of initialization and a diagnosis test of own hardware to be executed after power-on of a computer 10, a storage means 22 for detecting and storing a power switch signal for controlling the power of the computer, an initialization waiting means 23a for waiting until the reading means 21 reads a result indicating that a predetermined hardware resource has been initialized, and a signal generation means 24 for transmitting an instruction signal for power-off to the computer after the completion of waiting if the power switch signal is detected during the waiting. Another control circuit is provided with, in place of the initialization waiting means 23a, a boot waiting means 23b for waiting until a predetermined time elapses after a result indicating boot start of the OS is read. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
