<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical support system, especially a home care patient support system, that receives disaster prevention and meteorological information issued from an institution for managing or transmitting disaster prevention and meteorological information, such as a meteorological agency, and transmits the disaster prevention and meteorological information to medical apparatus installed in a region where a disaster is predicted to occur. <P>SOLUTION: The medical support system has the medical apparatus and communication terminals connected to the medical apparatus to exchange information via a network, and a server that has a database for storing information about the medical apparatus and the users thereof and exchanges information with the communication terminals. The server has the function of receiving disaster prevention and meteorological information, the operation function of, when the disaster prevention and meteorological information is received, creating a disaster possibility list from target region information in the disaster prevention and meteorological information and the information on the location of the medical apparatus, and the function of sending the disaster prevention and meteorological information to the communication terminals matching the list. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
