<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ethyl alcohol detector which detects ethyl alcohol in the blood from infrared rays emitted from a driver and is utilized for preventing driving under the influence of liquor. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging control part 42 respectively captures a first subject image of a first wavelength band containing the absorbing wavelength of ethyl alcohol from the infrared radiated light of a subject 20 or reflected light and a third subject image of a second wavelength band containing the other absorbing wavelength of a disturbance substance having an absorbing wavelength in the same first wavelength band as ethyl alcohol by replacing a filter and stores them in a memory. A reference image registration part 40 stores a first subject image by filter switching in a nonvolatile memory 36 beforehand as a reference image the imaging control part 42 when a registration mode is set. An ethyl alcohol detection part 44 calculates an ethyl alcohol containing degree on the basis of the first subject image and the reference image, and a disturbance substance detection part 46 calculates a disturbance degree on the basis of the second subject image and the reference image. A judge part 48 judges the detection or non-detection of ethyl alcohol on the basis of the ethyl alcohol containing degree and the disturbance degree. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
