PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a piping material made of fiber-reinforced resin, which allows to manufacture a pipe joint having insert openings at the end of the pipe, with good productivity by an infusion molding method. SOLUTION: A reinforcing fiber layer 2, which is in a cylinder form so as to follow a mold surface of a molding die 1, is covered with a gas-tight film 5, and is contained in a gas-tight space S formed in between the gas-tight film 5 and the forming die 1, and the gas-tight space S is depressurized to a pressure lower than the atmosphere. Subsequently, the end portion of the reinforcing fiber layer 2 is regulated of its outer diameter by applying an outer diameter regulating mold 7 having an internal diameter substantially the same as the internal diameter of the end portion of an other piping material which is connected from the outside of the gas-tight film 5. Then, the reinforcing fiber layer 2 is impregnated with a matrix resin by supplying the matrix resin into the gas-tight space S from the external of the gas-tight space S, while maintaining a depressurized condition.
