PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiving device with its body suspended from a ceiling in a vehicle wherein a screen to be displayed is easily visible same as an image display when used at a horizontal section. SOLUTION: The receiving device of road traffic information is provided with a receiving device body of the road traffic information having a CPU for controlling by receiving data of position and speed from a GPS module and obtaining road traffic information corresponding to current position from a position register data memory and signals from a remote control device and a display device for visually notifying the road traffic information, the remote control device for connecting the receiving device body in a wireless manner and transferring and receiving signals to and from the receiving device body and a supporting device for supporting the receiving device body from a direction and fixed at an arbitral device in the vehicle. A switch capable of selecting an image to be displayed on the display device from a standard display, an upside-down display, a 90-degree clockwise turned display and a 90-degree anti-clockwise turned display is provided for the remote control device.
