<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for optical components excellent in optical characteristics, heat resistance, adhesion and processability, and to further provide optical components excellent in optical characteristics and heat resistance. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The composition for optical components comprises a hydroxyamide polymer represented by formula (A), which has a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic group and an alkenyl group having a carbon-carbon double bond capable of conducting a crosslinking reaction under heat or active energy rays, and a solvent.
