<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharger which allows quick replacement of a discharge wire while suppressing upsizing of an apparatus, to provide a cartridge and an image forming apparatus each equipped with the discharger, thereby, capable of maintaining image forming quality over a long period. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When the cumulative time obtained by accumulating the operating time of the discharge wire 111 measured by a measuring section 400 reaches a predetermined upper limit, a driving section 300 is driven, and a wire unit 110 is rotated by a rotating section 120 when receiving the driving force from the driving unit 300, then, an unused discharge wire 112 is turned to a state of facing a photoreceptor, instead of the discharge wire 111 which received discharge stress until this time, and also, each end of the discharge wire 112 is electrically connected to a conduction section 130 so as to apply the voltage from a voltage application section 200.
