<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a book using binder rings that requires a much lower outlay on material and allows a simple handling when taking out and inserting sheets of paper. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The book using binder rings has: a top book cover 1; a bottom book cover 2; a spine 3; at least two separate rings 4 secured to the spine 3 and/or to one of the top book cover 1 and the bottom book cover 2, on which the sheets 5 can be threaded; and a slot disposed for each ring 4, for the insertion of the sheets 5 in the ring 4. The ring 4 is of rigid construction and individually fixed, secured against rotation, to the spine 3 and/or to one of the top book cover 1 and the bottom book cover 2. The ring 4 furthermore has an inwardly projecting bearing surface, the bearing surface being designed so that the bottom sheet 5 located on the side of the top book cover 1 and/or the side of the bottom book cover 2 in the open state, rests on the bearing surface with its edge region protruding into the ring.
