PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate editing a ladder program or the like on a monitor screen. SOLUTION: The ladder diagram monitoring device is configured to divide a ladder diagram edit screen region 44 on a monitor screen 4 into an input condition description display region 44a and an operation output description display region 44b, and to synchronously and vertically scroll each of the lines of the ladder diagram in both of the display regions 44a and 44b, and to individually or synchronously scroll each of the lines of the ladder diagram in the input condition description display region 44a in the horizontal direction by displaying each line of the ladder diagram in the operation output description region 44b in a fixed state.
