<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent information stored in a storage mounted on an information processor from being easily leaked, even if the storage is removed. <P>SOLUTION: The storage area of a storage connected to an information processor such as a POS terminal is divided into one or more partitions. In order that the information processor manages the division configurations of the partition of the storage. partition information is stored into a partition table included in the master booth record of the storage. In the information processor, the partition information is stored in a nonvolatile storage part such as an RTC circuit before equipment stops, and information different from the partition information is written in the partition table.
