PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processor capable of efficiently accepting an error log from an external processor without degrading the performance of the processor itself. SOLUTION: A master unit 601 periodically acquires normal job logs from slave units 602 to 605. Then, the master unit confirms the operating circumstances of the slave units from the job logs to calculate the operation rate, and since the slave unit whose operation rate is high is frequently used, the master unit determines that a memory for log of the slave unit easily becomes full, and preferentially accepts an error log storage request from such the slave unit. On the contrary, the master unit determines that the memory for log of the slave unit whose operation rate is low hardly becomes full, and decreases the priority of the acceptance of the error log storage request. Thus, even when there are many slaves units as the object of management, the error log from the equipment whose operation rate is high is preferentially accepted so that acceptance from the equipment whose operation rate is low can be restricted.
