<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for directly observing in vivo tissue-specific deposition of DDS-related medicines or DDS carriers and presence or absence of their distribution in non-intended tissues by imaging. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The contrast agent for ESR includes single or a plurality of objects displaying electron spin resonance (ESR) in a DDS carrier and achieves an electron spin resonance absorption line width ΔH of ≤1,000 mG in a static magnetic field of 50-500 G which is a practical magnetic field range for in vivo ESR-CT.
