摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a hybrid car for effectively preventing the shortage of residual capacity of a capacitor, and for securing desired hill climbing traveling performance. <P>SOLUTION: The controller 10 of a hybrid car includes: an engine 11 and a motor 12; a high voltage battery 15 for exchanging an electric energy with the motor 12; and a control part 16 for assisting driving force of the engine 11 with driving force of the motor 12 when accelerator opening AP becomes larger than a prescribed threshold AP_ref. The control part 16 specifies a vehicle location with respect to the climbing region based on longitude/latitude information of the vehicle location acquired by a GPS device 31 and longitude/latitude data related to the climbing region stored in a climbing region map 35, and when the vehicle is located in the climbing region suppresses the assist operation of the engine 11 by the motor 12 by increasing the threshold AP_ref of the accelerator opening AP and prevents the residual capacity of the high voltage battery 15 from being decreased due to the traveling of the vehicle in the climbing region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
