<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing apparatus capable of smoothly deaerating air in the entire area in a packaging bag. <P>SOLUTION: The sealing apparatus seals an opening part 2a of a packaging bag 2 after sucking air by an air suction nozzle 14. A stick 17 advancing/retracting in/from the packaging bag 2 is allowed to enter the packaging bag 2 while its fore end is directed to a distal side of the packaging bag 2 and its rear side reaches the opening part 2a of the packaging bag 2 earlier than its fore end, air in the packaging bag 2 is deaerated by the suction nozzle 14 opposing the opening part 2a. While sucking air, the stick 17 is retracted from the packaging bag 2 and the opening part 2a is sealed by a sealing machine 5. During this suction, even when the opening part 2a of the packaging bag 2 becomes flat in shape, a suction passage 32 is formed in the packaging bag 2 along the stick 17, and the air in the entire area of the packaging bag 2 is smoothly deaerated via this suction passage 32. Further, by retracting the stick 17 from the packaging bag 2 during sucking air, no air flows into its retraction passage as the stick is retracted, and the stick 17 can be easily retracted therefrom. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
