<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of not obtaining the optimal image density because the latest density measurement result cannot be received during bitmap development of print data and because image bitmap data has to be generated by using a density measurement value or a default value during the preceding density measurement calibration when a host computer executes printing while a printer is during density measurement calibration. <P>SOLUTION: A printer driver inquires whether the printer executes density measurement calibration during printing execution, spools a printing instruction output from a graphical engine inside if during the density measurement calibration, and waits for the density measurement calibration to end. After that, if the printer driver detects the end of the density measurement calibration, the printer driver despools the printing instruction spooled inside, applies density correction by the latest density measurement value and restarts image generation processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
