<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DTV antenna that can realize a wideband and good characteristics with a simple antenna pattern. <P>SOLUTION: A glass antenna for a vehicle comprises a feeding point 14, a main antenna element 16 whose one end is connected with the feeding point, and an auxiliary element 26 connected with the main antenna element. The main antenna element is constructed of a first linear conductor 18 having one end connected with the feeding point and extending laterally, a second linear conductor 20 extending downward vertically from another end of the linear conductor 18, and a third linear conductor 22 laterally extending in substantially parallel with the first linear conductor from another end of the linear conductor 20. The auxiliary element is constructed of a fourth linear conductor 37 having one end connected with the first linear conductor in the vicinity of the feeding point and extending downward vertically from the connected location thereof, and a fifth linear conductor 22 extending laterally in substantially parallel with the first and third linear conductors in an opposite direction to the second linear conductor from another end of the fourth linear conductor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
