摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal detection device and a wireless communication apparatus and a method for performing accurate carrier sensing. <P>SOLUTION: A signal detection device includes: a Fourier transforming means 102 for temporally continuously performing Fourier transform upon a result obtained by multiplying an input signal by a window function with a frame having the fixed number of samples as a unit and for generating a calculation result sample of each frame as a plurality of sample streams temporally continuous for each frequency bin; a correlation value calculating means 103 for calculating an autocorrelation value for a certain integration term by applying corresponding delay equal to or more than a bandwidth of the window function regarding a sample stream of a desired frequency bin among the sample streams, for summing up power within the integration term regarding a value of the desired frequency bin to compute an energy value, and for dividing the autocorrelation value with the energy value to calculate a normalized autocorrelation value; and a first determination means 104 for determining whether or not a magnitude of the normalized autocorrelation value is greater than a first threshold and for determining, when it is determined that the magnitude is greater than the first threshold, a narrow band signal is included in the desired frequency bin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
