<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce fluctuation in harmonic level due to the on time and off time of pulses for driving a power conversion device. <P>SOLUTION: The power conversion device 2 converts direct-current power supplied from a direct-current power supply device 4 by switching and supplies the resulting power to a load device 3. The controller 6 of the power conversion device 2 includes: a target frequency setting unit 10 for setting a target frequency at which the influence of pulses of switching of the power conversion device 2 is to be suppressed; a duty command input unit 11 for inputting a command value of duty of the pulses of switching from a command generation unit 7; a carrier signal generation unit 12 that takes as a carrier frequency a frequency selected from among frequencies obtained by dividing the product of either the command value of duty or a numeric value obtained by subtracting the command value from 1, whichever is smaller, and the target frequency by a natural number and generates a carrier signal; and a pulse generation unit 13 that outputs a pulse generated based on the carrier signal to a driver 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
