<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy converting device, especially a photovoltaic device. <P>SOLUTION: A photovoltaic device includes: a silicon substrate having a plurality of grooves; a doped silicon layer, installed on one surface of the silicon substrate; a first electrode installed adjacent to the silicon substrate; and a second electrode, installed at a side opposite to the surface of the silicon substrate adjacent to the first electrode. Here, the first electrode includes a plurality of carbon nanotube cables.
