<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new cell activator for fibroblast cells, and an anti-aging skin preparation for external use containing the cell activator as an active ingredient. <P>SOLUTION: This cell activator for the fibroblast cells is provided by using an extract of Pluchea indica Less of Compositae family (inhabiting in Java islands, etc., called also as Belantas and cultivated as an edible vegetable), and the anti-aging skin preparation for external use is provided by containing the above cell activator as the active ingredient. The extract of the Pluchea indica Less may be any of the extracts of its roots, stalks, trunks, leaves, flowers, etc., but especially the extract liquid obtained by crushing the dried material of the stalk and leaf parts, and adding 50 vol.% aqueous ethanol solution is preferable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
