<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a contactless charging apparatus capable of inhibiting the temperature of foreign metallic particles from abnormally rising due to electromagnetic induction heating by providing a member for inhibiting foreign metallic particles from approaching an electric power transmission coil. <P>SOLUTION: The contactless charging apparatus 10 includes the electric power transmission coil 60, a plate member 30 and a spring 50. The plate member 30 is displaceable between a first position where the plate member 30 is placed above the electric power transmission coil 60 in a spaced manner from the electric power transmission coil 60 and a second position where an object to be charged 100 is allowed to approach the electric power transmission coil 60. In the first position, at least the upper surface 31 of the plate member 30 is inclined relative to the horizontal plane. The spring 50 energizes the plate member 30 from the second position toward the first position. The contactless charging apparatus 10 charges the object to be charged 100 by electromagnetic induction with the plate member 30 placed in the second position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
