<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an accident caused by electric leakage and resulting in power failure by preventing rain water or the like from being accumulated in a distribution line clamping device. <P>SOLUTION: A pair of half-cut clamps 1, 1 are supported pivotally with each other at upper end parts so as to be opened and closed in a vertical plane. Projection parts 4a, 4b are oppositely arranged on lower outer side surfaces of the respective half-cut clamps. Engagement projections 5a and engagement holes 5b, which fit to each other when both of the half-cut clamps are closed, are formed on the projection parts. Cylindrical parts 6 are formed on inner surface upper parts of the respective half-cut clamps which face to each other, and recessed dent parts 7 are formed on inner lower parts of the respective half-cut clamps which face to each other. Lower edge parts of the respective cylindrical parts are formed to have an absent part so as to form a clearance 8 when both of the half-cut clamps are closed. An insulator 12 is sandwiched by the recessed dent parts by closing both of the half-cut clamps, and a rib 10b of a cylindrical cover 10 is suspended to the clearance 8.
