<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating removing tool for optical fiber with which the coating of the end parts of a plurality of optical fibers are simultaneously removed in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: The coating removing tool 1 with which the coatings 8 of the ends of the optical fibers 6 having coatings 8 on the outer periphery of coated optical fibers 16 are removed includes: an upper side base member 4 on which a cutting blade 9 for cutting the coatings 8 is provided; and a lower side base member 2 on which a plate part 7 for mounting the optical fibers 6 is provided via a foaming member 5, wherein the upper side base member 4 and the lower side base member 2 are freely turnably connected on their one end sides, and the cutting blade 9 and the plate part 7 are arranged facing to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
