PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous treatment apparatus utilizing shock waves, which is capable of suppressing secondary unintended treatment accompanying treatment when treating an object to be treated such as food by shock waves, and performing continuous, quick and smooth treatment. SOLUTION: The continuous treatment apparatus for treating the object to be treated by the shock waves includes: a shock wave generation part 2; an object storage part 3 which is adjacent to the shock wave generation part 2 and stores the object; and a diaphragm 8 disposed between the shock wave generation part 2 and the object storage part 3, for not making substances generated accompanying the generation of the shock waves pass through. The shock wave generation part 2 is provided with one or several electric pulse generation parts 15 for generating the shock waves, and the object storage part 3 is provided with a moving means for successively moving the object from a supply part 4 to a discharge part 7.
